What type of massage therapy does Sutherland-Chan offer?

How long are the treatments?

We have several different time allocations.  We have 30min through 90min treatment.  It is your choice.

How much clothing do I need to remove for a massage?

It is a common question. Disrobe to your own comfort level and be aware you will be draped with a sheet and blanket at all times. This is your session. We want you to feel safe and relaxed.

Do you have showers?

No, however we use hot towels to wipe off the massage oil at the end of the treatment.

Does your clinic deal with Motor Vehicle Accidents?

Yes we will deal with your motor vehicle insurance adjusters directly with no out of pocket expenses.

How much does a massage cost?

The cost of each treatment depends on the duration. For an hour treatment, the price is $82.00 plus HST. Please consult our price list for the price of all other treatments.

Is my massage covered by insurance?

All of our massage therapists are licensed with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Many company plans will cover our massage treatments. Check with your Human Resources Department to find out if your plan is based on the number of visits or a specified dollar amount.

Do I need a referral letter from my doctor?

You will not need a referral for our therapist to see you, however you may need a referral for your benefits to cover the cost.
